Gary M. Joye is a partner specializing in matters involving the application of antitrust laws to traditionally regulated industries, including telecommunications and energy transportation and supply. In addition, Mr. Joye's trial and appellate practice includes clients in the aerospace, entertainment and manufacturing industries.

Professional experience includes:

  • Representing several municipalities in an antitrust conspiracy lawsuit against natural gas and pipeline companies.
  • Representing a telecommunications client that successfully obtained a multimillion dollar monopolization verdict against a major incumbent telephone company.
  • Representing several ISPs in DSL-related monopolization suits against a major incumbent telephone company.
  • Defending a gasoline/petroleum company against conspiracy charges filed on behalf of the State of Hawaii.
  • Defending aerospace equipment company against monopolization-antitrust damage claims.
  • Defending construction/real estate company against contract claims filed by a major oil company.
  • Representing major theater chain in a contract dispute with a motion picture company.
