William C. Hsu

William C. Hsu represents and advises clients on a wide variety of issues involving commercial litigation and disputes in a number of industries, including recording, cable television, healthcare, petroleum and telecommunications. Mr. Hsu lectures at programs for the Practicing Law Institute (PLI) and the Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB). He was a Committee Member of the Los Angeles County Bar Judicial Appointments Committee.

Significant Matters:

• Defended a major petroleum company against charges of price fixing brought by California consumers.
• Prosecuted on behalf of a corporate client an action challenging a joint business arrangement involving several major entertainment companies.
• Defended a small business owner against charges of trade secret theft and unfair competition.
• Defended a major petroleum company against charges of price fixing brought by the State of Hawaii.
• Prosecuted a class action alleging copyright infringement and breach of contract by two major music companies.
• Prosecuted on behalf of a corporate client an action alleging a breach of contract by a major technology company.
